We would like to invite you to Samantha Bradshaw’s and Donara Barojan’s lecture “Challenges and experiences from recent elections around the world”.
Samantha Bradshaw is a PhD candidate at the Oxford Internet Institute. She is also a Researcher on the Computational Propaganda Project at Oxford University, and a Senior Fellow at the Canadian International Council. Samantha’s work examines government use of social media for coordinated digital disinformation campaigns. Her research has been featured by numerous media outlets, including the Washington Post, Bloomberg, and the Financial Times.
Donara Barojan is a strategic communication and information warfare expert. She currently works at a London-based strategic communications company Zinc Network, where she leads an independent media support project in the Baltic states. Prior to joining Zinc Network, she worked for the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence and the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab, where she served as an Assistant Director for Research and Development.
The lectures main goal is to present past elections around the world – what challenges they faced and what experiences they give.
The lecture will take place on the 10th of March, 3 PM, room 402.
