Presentation of Oxford University Professor Jan Zielonka’s book “Counter-revolution. Liberal Europe in Retreat”

IIRPS VU, together with British Council Lithuania, would like to invite you to the presentation of Oxford University Professor Jan Zielonka’s book “Counter-revolution. Liberal Europe in Retreat”. The presentation will be followed by a discussion and will take place on the 24th of April, 6:30 PM, in Room 402 of the IIRPS VU. The event is open to members of the Vilnius University community as well as the public.

Jan Zielonka is a Professor of European Politics at Oxford University. His main research interests are in the field of European Integration and Disintegration, Political Geography, Comparative Politics and Democracy, Political Ideologies, Media and Communication.

“Counter-revolution. Liberal Europe in Retreat” is a book that aspires to tackle problems plaguing modern day Europe. In his book, Professor Jan Zielonka discusses economic, cultural and political issues Europe is facing and attempts to offer a way out of the current malaise.
