On 14th of April ambassador of the State of Israel to Lithuania Amir Maimon will visit IIRPS and will give a lecture on topic “Israel – regional challenges”.
A lecture will be held on 14th of April, 3 p.m. at room 402.
Ambassador will give a lecture about Israel’s regional position, process of relations between Israel and Palestine, conception about Israel’s state and Israel’s fight for independence.
Amir Maimon is ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Lithuania. After retiring from a 14-year military career in the paratroopers unit, Maimon joined the Foreign Service in 1989 and has served in various positions throughout the world. From 1997-2002, Mr. Maimon served at the Israeli Embassy in Ankara, Turkey. From 2005-2009 Mr. Maimon served in Israeli Embassy in Washington as the Director of the Political Department.
