VU TSPMI 30 and PoDi’22

On the 7th of February 2022, the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University (IIRPS VU) celebrated its 30th birthday. Looking back at the Institute’s thirty-year history, we can be pleased that the establishment of IIRPS VU has given the modern and inspiring discipline of political science.     

IIRPS VU has strived for the highest quality of studies, new scientific insights, continuous community development, and a partnership and value-based communication with partners during this short period. During these three decades, the Institute has developed, strengthened and accumulated experience. The community members have participated and are participating in the most critical processes of the creation and strengthening of the Lithuanian state.      

In response to current events, we have moved the celebration of our founding day to 25-29 April in conjunction with the annual Political Science Days (PoDi). Various events and initiatives will take place throughout the week. We invite you to participate at a time that suits you. Here is more information. We will close the week of events together at the IIRPS VU community discussion “Global Challenges and Our Role” closing evening at the cultural bar “Kablys”.
