PhD studies programme
PhD in Political Science is the highest level of political science studies aiming to train political scientists and develop the political science field in Lithuania. The PhD in Political Science process consists of doctoral studies, focused scientific research, and preparation of a PhD thesis. Political science doctoral studies are conducted following the study programme approved by the VU TSPMI Council and the Rector of Vilnius University. A doctoral student shall study at least three study courses. The courses are divided into compulsory and optional. In addition, TSPMI doctoral students are participating in a regularly held doctoral colloquium.
