Zhaona
MA student at VU IIRPS
I am from Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region of China. I first came to Lithuania in 2013 as an exchange student and was amazed by how much it has developed in 22 years of independence and how preserved its culture is. So I decided to come back and explore it through the Eastern European and Russian Studies master program at VU TSPMI of Vilnius University. It is a lovely university full of international students and plentiful academic possibilities. There are many professors with practical political backgrounds who in their classes manage to take us from theory to practice, from last century to present, and from critique to understating. Thus, it helps me prepare for my future plans – to become a part of building closer cooperation between Lithuania and Asian countries.
