Alfredo Hernandez Sanchez holds a PhD in Political Science, with a specialization in Political Economy, from the Central European University. His research interests include Computational Social Sciences, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and International Political Economy. He is currently working on measuring corruption through large-scale administrative data sets (Big Data) and the political economy of Financial Technologies (FinTech) in Europe. His research has been published in edited volumes by Springer, Bloomsbury and Emerald. He also works on policy papers and evaluations with several organizations such as UNESCO, Transparency International, and the IADB.
