Emilė Indrašiūtė obtained a Bachelor‘s degree in Political Science from the Institute of International Relations and Political Science at Vilnius University in 2019. She obtained a Master‘s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy in 2021. In 2022, she began her PhD studies in Political Science and is working on her dissertation on “The Concept of (Dis)Balance of Power in Cyberspace: The Influence of Independent Actors on the Cyber Power of the State” (supervisor: Prof. Margarita Šešelgytė).
In 2018, Emilė was a trainee at the Permanent Representation of Lithuania to the EU, Political and Security Committee (Brussels, Belgium). In 2019 and 2020, she participated in the Small States Summer and Winter Schools in Reykjavik and Vilnius, respectively on the topics of small state leadership and small state leadership in foreign and security policy. In 2020-2021, she carried out a study on “The EU defence industry: between protectionism and competitiveness. Opportunities for Lithuania in a protectionist sector”. For her work on this topic, she received an award from the Baltic Institute of Advanced Technology (BPTI).
