Gintas Karalius is a lecturer at the Institute of International Relations and Political Science, Vilnius University (VU TSPMI). In 2019 he defended his dissertation on the topic: The Idea of Honor as a Means to Understand Democracy. The Perspective of XVIII-XIX Century Political Philosophy (supervised by Prof. Dr Alvydas Jokubaitis).
In 2011 graduated from VU TSPMI bachelor’s program, in 2013 obtained a Cum Laude Master’s degree in Comparative Politics. From September of 2009 to June of 2010 studied at the Institut d’études politiques de Lyon.
Since 2021, he is a member of Film indexing commission at the Lithuanian film centre. From 2019 to 2021 G. Karalius contributed articles to Lithuanian Science and Encyclopaedia Publishing Centre.
Since 2015, publicly contributes and comments to various media channels. Subjects ranging from political philosophy to international politics (mostly on political developments in France, Canada and Western Europe).
